Beebthernet V150 viewsThis is the schematic for my BBC Microcomputer ethernet device. It connects via the TUBE connector on the computer and uses a WIZ812mj board to do all the hard work. The WIZ board plugs in to SV1 and SV2.

TUBE based interface78 viewsThis is my TUBE (a bus based interface) based board. It uses some glue logic, buffers and a bus transceiver to interface the wiz812mj module to the computer. Unfortunately timing issues mean this never works properly.

SPI based interface73 viewsMy second attempt used an NKC Electronics SPI breakout board for the WIZ module to connect it to a parallel IO port on the BBC Micro. A bit banging SPI routine written in assembler is used for communication. The BoArduino is just there to provide a 5V supply.

It works!94 viewsThis is the result from pinging the interface!

WIZ812mj47 viewsThis is like the WIZ810mj except it has hobbyist friendly 0.1" pitch connectors. Its a complete TCP/IP stack on a board. Great for interfacing to aged computers and microcontrollers.
